New Democrats celebrate Pride

New Democrat leader Adrian Dix and MLAs Spencer Chandra Herbert, Raj Chouhan, Mable Elmore, Mike Farnworth, Bruce Ralston, Nicholas Simons, Shane Simpson and Diane Thorne joined thousands of participants and spectators in the annual celebration of British Columbia's LGBT community at the Vancouver Pride Parade on Sunday.

Chandra Herbert also renewed the New Democrats' call for the B.C. Liberal government to commit to bring in legislation explicitly protecting transgender individuals in the B.C. Human Rights Code.
