VANCOUVER— New Democrat leader Adrian Dix announced he will introduce legislation that will lower the age at which voters can first register with Elections B.C. to 16. The legislation is intended to encourage greater political participation and voter turnout among young people.

VICTORIA – While the latest job numbers offer a glimmer of hope, longer term numbers show British Columbia’s economy is still struggling, say the New Democrats.
